A grade II* listed building in a prominent position overlooking the Wolverhampton Ring Road.

Following its demise as a hotel/public house in 1979, the building had fallen into a dilapidated condition. Farebrothers worked extensively on schemes for preservation and restoration of the structure. The work included propping and façade support systems as well as surveys, especially following a serious fire, which partially gutted the building. Working closely with Wolverhampton’s Conservation Architect and English Heritage, a scheme was produced for restoration.
