IM Properties are developing a 200,000 sq. ft. distribution warehouse for Bristan, with 20,000 sq. ft. of internal office space, on the former Birch Coppice Colliery site at Dordon, North Warwickshire.
The building comprises of 50m triple span steel portal frames with 12m to underside of haunch.
Two storey internal offices comprise of steel frames with precast concrete floors. Provision has been incorporated in the design for expansion to a third storey in the future.
Loading docks at one end of the building are served by an external service yard.
Farebrother assisted with the provision of an Employers Requirement brief for tender purposes and are to act as civil and structures designer on novation to the successful Design & Build Contractor.
