Pendle Borough Council, in conjunction with Alliance Leisure management, were looking to provide an extension to their existing swimming pool to create a Leisure Centre, incorporating fitness and dance suites, an aqua facility and changing rooms.
Farebrothers were part of the team, which incorporated ISG Dean & Bowes and the Pozzoni Design Group, that were successful in negotiating a Design & Build Tender for the project.
The project comprised of the construction of a two storey extension to the existing building and the reconfiguration of the existing car parking facility.
Farebrothers were responsible for the structural design and detailing of the extension and the refurbishment of parts of the existing building together with the civil engineering works associated with the reconfiguration of the car park.
