The refurbishment and alteration of Balham Leisure Centre formed part of Wandsworth Borough Councils five yearly upgrading programme within the Borough in partnership with D C Leisure Management.
The team of Farebrothers, ISG Dean & Bowes and The Pozzoni Design Group were successful in their Design & Construct bid for the project, the major elements of the works being the extension of the existing first floor dance studio to form a second storey of fitness studio and the creation of a new dance studio within the former squash court and changing areas.
Farebrothers were responsible for the structural design and detailing associated with the alterations.
