Bromley Mytime Leisure Trust were looking to greatly increase their fitness suite capacity at the above Leisure Centre and to provide an increased soft play/crèche area whilst maintaining the full operation of the facility in order to avoid as much loss of revenue as possible.
Farebrothers, in conjunction with ISG Dean & Bowes and the Pozzoni Design Group were the successful team that submitted a Design & Construct Tender for the works. The brief was achieved by converting four infrequently used squash courts and viewing areas into a new two storey fitness suite and constructing a high rise soft play and creche facility within half of the existing under used sports hall.
The former fitness suite was converted into multi purpose and spin studios.
Farebrothers were responsible for the structural design and detailing of the alterations associated with the conversions.
