Burton Albion Football Club have redeveloped their ground with a new 8000 seat stadium. The stadium comprises 4 stands with the main stand to include catering facilities, hospitality suites and training rooms.
Farebrothers were involved as grandstand designer for Bison Concrete Products Ltd. Continuing on an established working relationship with Bison, we worked with the clients consultants to develop the design/scheme intent into an economical and buildable solution.
Our brief included:
- Design of precast concrete grandstand
- Structural stability and resolution of the interface with substructure design by other consultants
- Resolve buildability of precast concrete components to satisfy design intent
- Fabrication drawings and details for precast component production
