The project comprised the extension and refurbishment of the existing offices on the front of LPC’s factory at Hamilton Business Park Leicester. As a contrast to the existing two storey office load bearing masonry block, the new extension comprises a steel framed two storey building with curved curtain walling to the main elevation. The new first floor was of precast construction, whilst the lower floor was ground bearing. Within the existing offices a series of walls were removed to create a more open plan area rather than the cellular construction that existed previously.
