The buildings at Tettenhall Road comprised a terrace of six Georgian gentlemen’s residences within a designated conservation area and were grade II listed. Having been empty for some years the structure was in poor condition, particularly at the rear. Working with Wolverhampton MBC conservation Architects and English Heritage, a scheme was produced for converting the building to offices and adding a new wing. The front part of the building including the original façade, front room, etc were retained, whilst the rear of the building was demolished and rebuilt. An extensive façade retention scheme was designed to support the building during the works.
