GATESHEAD CO-OP, TEMPORARY WORKS
| WE PROVIDED | Temporary works design |
| PROCUREMENT BY | Negotiated Design & Buildt |

Farebrothers were engaged by Kingfisher Construction to carry out the design & detail of temporary propping works associated with the conversion of three multi-storey, load bearing masonry buildings, that had formed the
Co-op Department Store, into a number of smaller retail units.
The propping was required to support the upper storeys of external brick walls to two of the buildings whilst openings were formed at ground level.
Further internal propping was required to facilitate the removal of elements of internal load bearing wall.
The design was carried out utilising the Mabey System 160, of temporary hire components.
