Farebrothers were asked by Marshall Arts to carry out an independent check of the structural calculations for the stage, disabled platform and mixer platform structures for the Elton john Tour of concerts in 2005.
In order to minimise wind loading on the structures Farebrothers devised a management plan which incorporated the monitoring of wind speed and a staged programme of dismantling elements of the stage under varying wind conditions.
A check of the completed structures was also carried out at the Carrow Road Venue, Norwich at the request of Norwich City Council.
